Devin Wenig is a purpose driven global technology leader. He’s passionate about building great organizations and teams to make a positive impact on communities around the world. Throughout his career, Devin has achieved clarity of vision and outstanding financial performance leading complex global organizations. In 2020, he formed Norse Capital which invests in, consults with and works closely with Founders in early stage platform oriented companies.

From 2012 until 2019, Devin was President, and then President and CEO of eBay Inc, the global ecommerce leader.

During his tenure as CEO eBay (15-19) delivered a 56% return to shareholders, while growing the user base by over 50%. Wenig was recognized as one of Americas “100 Most Innovative Leaders” (Forbes); one of “Technologies Highest Rated CEO’s” (Glassdoor); One of the “Bay Areas Favorite CEO’s” (SF Chroncile); and a “Top 100 Connected Leader” (Brunswick). 


Before eBay, Wenig spent 17 yrs at Thomson Reuters,, where he was CEO of Thomson Reuters Markets, the global media and information business formed from the combination of Reuters and Thomson Financial, and including Reuters News.Wenig serves on  the Boards of General Motors Inc., Cruise Automation Inc., the autonomous vehicle company, and his family Charitable Trust. He serves on the Advisory Board of Salesforce, Inc.

Jon Stokes is a 25-year veteran of online media, an engineer, a journalist, and an author. He co-founded Ars Technica in 1998, and then sold it to Condé Nast in 2008. He was a WIRED editor, and has contributed to, edited for, and in some cases run a long list of publications in both mainstream and independent media.


Jon was the second software developer and eventually the first CTO at Dubai-based EatApp.co, a 500 Startups company that is now the top hospitality platform in the Middle East and North Africa. He most recently worked for Balaji Srinivasan on TheNetworkState.com and its predecessor 1729.com, managing the community, writing and editing content, and writing software. He has also written a popular book on microprocessor architecture, and most recently has been covering web3 and generative AI at his newsletter, jonstokes.com.
